Cookie Policy

The short version

• We use no advertising, analytics or tracking cookies.
• What we store is there only to make the site work: an offline copy of the menu and your cookie choice.
• The only optional item is the Google Maps map in the Visit section, which comes from Google and may set Google’s own cookies. It loads only if you choose “Accept all” or tap “Show map”.
• Your choice does not change how fast or smoothly the site runs.

Essential storage (always on)

These are needed for the site to work and cannot be switched off on the site, but you can clear them in your browser at any time:

• “ww:consent:v1” (local storage) — remembers your cookie choice, so we do not ask on every visit.
• “ww:content:v1” (local storage) — the last menu, prices and opening hours the site downloaded, so the menu still opens with a weak or no signal. Refreshed when you are online; considered out of date after 24 hours.
• Offline files (the browser’s service-worker cache) — the menu page, site files and photographs, so wafflewala.pk/menu works in the shop even without signal.
• Promotion seen (session storage) — remembers that you closed the offer pop-up, for that browser tab only.
• Staff sign-in (cookies on admin.wafflewala.pk and api.wafflewala.pk) — only for our staff when they sign in to manage the menu and rewards; secure, HTTP-only and not used for visitors.

Optional: content from other companies

• Google Maps (Visit section) — shows where the shop is. When it loads, Google may set its own cookies and receive your IP address under the Google Privacy Policy. Loaded only after “Accept all” or a tap on “Show map”. You can always use the “Get directions” link instead.

Google Fonts also serves our typefaces; it does not set cookies, but your browser’s request for them shares your IP address with Google.

Services we link to

Foodpanda, WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and Google Maps set their own cookies on their own websites and apps when you follow a link to them. Their cookie policies apply there.

Changing your choice

Choose “Cookie settings” at the foot of any page to change your choice. You can also clear or block cookies and site data in your browser settings; the site still works, though the offline menu copy will be downloaded again.
